As an atheist who grew up in a Catholic family – mom pretty devout, grand ma the most religious person I’ve ever known (actual compassion, care for the sick, the aged, and the poor – that kind of religious, not “it’s Jesus’ will to make me as rich as possible!” religious) I’m nauseous just thinking through this concept.
I feel like I owe an apology to my dead grandma rolling in her grave right now for having allowed the world to get to this.
